A physiologically realistic virtual patient database for the study of arterial haemodynamics

This study creates a physiologically realistic virtual patient database (VPD), representing the human arterial system, for primary purpose of studying affects disease on haemodynamics. A low dimensional representation an anatomically detailed network is outlined, and posterior distribution its parameters constructed through Bayesian approach. approach combines both physiological/geometrical constraints available measurements reported in literature. key contribution this work to present framework including all such information creation patients (VPs).
